White Light/Black Rain: The Destruction of Hiroshima and Nagasaki (2007)
A thrilling documentary with testimonies of the small numbers of survivors from the nuclear bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki by the Americans in ´45 in which 140,000 victims perished in Hiroshima and 70,000 in Nagasaki. All survivors are now at the last days of their lives, only now have received a sort of indemnification from the Japanese government. Nanking Nanking (2009)

The Beast of War (1988)
The Beast of War is, as its descriptive name indicates, a war movie about a Russian tank and its crew getting lost in the Afghan mountains after they have destroyed a local village to its roots, including most of its inhabitants. The tank commander seems to represent quite a psycho fella who happens to feel like killing two of his crew members in different occassions. (more…)
