A thrilling documentary with testimonies of the small numbers of survivors from the nuclear bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki by the Americans in ´45 in which 140,000 victims perished in Hiroshima and 70,000 in Nagasaki. All survivors are now at the last days of their lives, only now have received a sort of indemnification from the Japanese government. As in other societies, those symbol of defeat, are consciously put aside, left behind, not wanting to be remembered. (more…)

The film will make a historic review on the ideology that justified the mass killings of other ethnic groups in order to establish a reign of terror. Nanking was the capital of the Republic of China in 1937 at the time that the Imperial army of Japan arrived, during one of the Sino-Japanese wars. The Japanese take the city and deliberately kill tens of thousands of prisoners, some soldiers some others not. (more…)

The Beast of War

The Beast of War is, as its descriptive name indicates, a war movie about a Russian tank and its crew getting lost in the Afghan mountains after they have destroyed a local village to its roots, including most of its inhabitants. The tank commander seems to represent quite a psycho fella who happens to feel like killing two of his crew members in different occassions. (more…)
