Harrison Ford is a veteran Migra agent sick of his work and feeling for the people his obliged to take to the other side of the fence due to their illegal immigrant status in the states. The film depicts the vicissitudes of several illegal immigrant in the US from different countries and cultures, what they have to put up with, the risks of getting caught, the yearn for the green card and the price they are willing to pay to get their dreams become real. Some of them will be caught and repatriated into their country of origin, others will die trying it, other’s families willbe cut in half by the differences of status between the members of the family granting them several rights for those being born in th eguest country. In the process also corrupted burocrats play their part by providing papers to unqualifying candidates. All and all there is nothing in this movie that we werent aware of its existence and besides the old veteran play here, there is not much to ponder. Score: 4.5
