The story of a wealthy young man suffering from a heart condition, and his jealous mother who still wants him to live at his parents’ house. The young successor of the family business is on a waiting list for a heart transplant, due to his rare blood type – but just before the critical moment arrives, when he is to be called into the operation room, he decides to marry his then secret girlfriend – an act which makes his mother very disappointed. Things continue to go wrong, as during surgery, after supposedly being anesthetized, he apparently continues to feel everything…and hear everything as well. Tragically, he discovers that his old-time friend, who is also the doctor in charge of the procedure, together with the rest of the operating team, have all conspired to cause the transplant proceeding to fail so that the four of them (wife included) will be able to split among them a 200 million dollars sum that the widow is expected to receive from the inheritance money, subsequent to the patient’s death. However, the mother, who is waiting outside the O.R. at the hospital, is informed of the failure of the surgery and very unexpectedly decides to overdose pills and take her own life, in order for her heart to be immediately transplanted into her son’s body. At this point, another doctor, a long-time family friend, arrives to perform the surgery, and magically saves the live of the heir, leading the perpetrators of the crime to be arrested. Score: 3.5
